Description

Sorrel jam is a sweet and tart preserve made from the vibrant red calyxes (petals) of the sorrel plant (also known as hibiscus sabdariffa or roselle). It is highly popular in the Caribbean, particularly around Christmas, and is often made by sweetening and cooking down the leftover pulp after boiling sorrel for drinks.
